Children's Week
Children’s Week is a national celebration that recognises the talents, skills, achievements and rights of children, running from 21 October to Sunday 29 October 2023. The theme for Children’s Week 2023 is “Children have the right to relax, play and to take part in activities they enjoy.”
Come and celebrate Children’s Week at Darebin Stadiums with a variety of engaging and FREE events to celebrate the joy that play and movement brings happiness to children. Have fun with us and create some special memories.
Snap, Share & Win - Sports Poster
WHAT: Create your very own Sportsman/Sportswoman Poster! Use our green screen, AI technology and your best sports pose to create your very own epic athlete sports poster!

Yarra Valley Water - Water Watcher Session
WHAT: Come and meet the Water Watchers in this fun interactive session run by Yarra Valley Water. The kids will enjoy a wide range of fun activities and games designed to build their water saving knowledge. For ages 5-12 years old.
DATE: Wednesday 24th October
TIME: 4pm & 5pm sessions (45 minutes long)

Table Tennis Fun
WHAT: Get your ping pong action happening and head down with the kids after school for a hit of table tennis for free!

Pickleball
WHAT: Calling all picklers and little ones! Come and try out Pickleball together for a fun midweek runaround. Played on a half court with a plastic ball (and larger paddles than table tennis), the kids will have fun with hand eye coordination and hitting the ball over the net.
DATE: Tuesday 24th October
TIME: 12pm-2pm

Ready, Steady Go Kids
WHAT: Fun multi-sports program for 1.5-6 year olds with different sessions per age group. Check class times and age levels HERE.
